ALEXUS BLANDING is a detail-driven event planning professional with a natural talent for creating memorable experiences. Her journey into event coordination began organically—planning family gatherings and curating travel itineraries for friends sparked her love for logistics and thoughtful execution. It wasn’t until she began her career as a book publicist, a role she continues to thrive in, that her passion for events truly came to life.
In her publicity work, Alexus has managed nationwide author tours, coordinated seamless travel accommodations, and led on-the-ground logistics for high-profile book launches and experiential events featuring celebrity authors llike Keke Palmer and A’ja Wilson. These experiences affirmed her calling: turning meaningful moments into well-orchestrated celebrations.
Alexus holds a B.A. in English from the University of South Carolina, a graduate certification in Publishing from the Denver Publishing Institute, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from American University in Washington, DC. Outside of work, she finds joy in curating R&B playlists, getting lost in a good book, laughing with friends, and—no surprise—planning the next unforgettable event or getaway with her family.
